Many people are curious about what to expect at Family Health Trust Chiropractic Center. If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to stop in anytime and take a look around. Our friendly staff is ready to greet you. If you’ve booked an appointment, we value your time. We don’t want you to wait, so we stick to our schedule.

Your First Visit

You’ll complete some paperwork, then meet with your chiropractor. He will talk to you about your health history and current complaints. The next step will be a comprehensive examination. Most likely, you’ll have X-rays taken because we don’t want to guess with your health.

Then, we’ll need some time to analyze your examination. Please plan on spending about 45 minutes with us. We ask our female patients to wear a sports bra so that it won’t need to be removed for X-rays. In certain cases, we may provide a chiropractic adjustment on the first visit.

Your Second Visit

When you return, you’ll meet with your chiropractor. Together, you’ll go through the results of your assessment. Your X-ray and examination findings will be detailed to you. You’ll receive our recommendations to get you back to 100%. This appointment takes about 40 minutes, which includes your first treatment.

Following Up

A typical visit to our office takes 15-40 minutes depending on your treatment. Every patient is different. The time you’ll spend with us varies. If you have an adjustment only, it takes about 15 minutes. You may also spend some time on our traction table.

You might wonder, once you’re feeling better, do you need to return to us? Most of our patients choose to come back because they feel incredible while under regular chiropractic care. They know that it’s key to living their healthy lifestyle. Our maintenance patients don’t need to see us often. Their visits range from once a month to every six months depending on their needs.
